Boudoir Weekend! - Boudoir Photography, Baltimore, MD

So my first ever Boudoir weekend was a hit! I have to admit I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I arrived at the hotel with my event manager Jenn armed with all of my backdrops, lighting, and a gian bag of props. However, the room was everything we expected - modern and chic! Fellow photographer Erin Morris joined us for the last few sessions as well. All the ladies were fun and amazing to work with. Thanks to all the gals that came out to have fun! KCO Photography - Boudoir FAQ’s

1.     Oh I don’t know…I’m too _________. Go ahead, fill it in with your favorite self-depreciating adjective. Okay, now get over it. No one’s perfect, even that chick on the cover of Maxim has been photoshop’d. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to make your shoot a successful one (and a little editing helps too, shhh). Besides your photographer is a woman who’s had 4 kids in 8 years, so she know a few things about posing and hiding flaws ;)

2.     Who would I give them to? Your significant other…or yourself! You don’t have to give them to anyone. All women deserve to look and feel great about themselves!

3.     What can I expect? I am really casual and fun, so I hope that your session is too! I try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. You’ll get your full 50 minutes to get a lot of great shots in and as many outfit changes you want during your session. Your session is private and your images are not posted without your permission. I’ll have someone on hand to help with outfit changes, hair and make-up if you need it. We’ve got a pretty snazzy location and I’ll have my backdrops available as well. I’ve got plenty of fun ideas and am willing to try anything out that you’d like too.

4.     When do I get to look at my proofs? You proofs will be done within 3-5 days after your session. You will have private viewing and ordering. Once you select your image for your 8x10 they arrive within 5 days.

5.     What do I wear? Whatever you are comfortable in! You don’t have to run out and purchase everything off of the rack at Frederick’s. Never underestimate the power of a pair of men’s boxer shorts or that football jersey!

I LOVE shooting special events, especially awesome family events like this one. A special tea was held in celebration of JoAnn's birthday. The food and location were lovely, but I think the best part was seeing four generations sitting at the same table :)

On and by the way....

New this year is my in-home studio photography! Forget packing up the kids and dragging them to the mall. For just an additional $10, I bring everything to you - the backdrop, the lights, etc. (This is great for newborn sessions or boudoir photography). It can be used in conjunction with any session (so you aren't just limited to sitting in front of the backdrop during your session).

For my regular sessions, I'm offering the mini session and the ultra mini session in addition to my regular portrait session. Ultra Mini...$40

3o minute session

Mini Session...$75

60 minute session, up to 2 locations and 2 outfit changes

Regular Session...$150

Up to 3 hours of camera time, unlimited location and wardrobe changes, no restrictions on the number of people. Perfect for senior pictures, candid family sessions, and engagement photography.

Portrait Party

Organize a portrait party and get your session free! Portrait parties consist of at least 6 consecutively scheduled sessions (usually ultra-mini’s work best). The organizer’s session is FREE. Portrait party participants also get a disk of 10 of their favorite images for FREE. Session fees must be paid at the time of the shoot in cash or check. Studio Set-up, add $10

Still looking for the traditional photo experience? Forget packing up the kids and dragging them to the mall! Let me bring the studio to you. I set up the backdrop(s) and the lighting in your home.

All prints are sold a la carte.
