Summer: Children and Teen Photography, Annapolis, Maryland

Mother Nature almost thwarted my efforts to get out to shoot today, but when the rain cleared she surprised me with an amazingly perfect day. Combined with a gorgeous subject, probably the world's cutest "prop" and a great little secret shoot spot, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect situation :) Thank you Summer!

Emily: Senior Photography, Annapolis, MD

Yay! It was my first senior session of the season (haha, say that 3x fast) - the lighting was perfect, we finally had a day with no rain and our location was quiet and unpopulated, however it was FREEZING out (hello Spring where are you??)!  But Emily was so sweet and such a great sport (even standing barefoot on the beach with the 40 degree winds blowing)! Emily is one of my 2012 seniors (she plays ice hockey and plays guitar, how cool is that??) Thanks so much for a great session! (And check out her other set of previews on our facebook page!)

Double Trouble!: Family and child photography, Washington, DC

I had the chance to meet up with some amazing and beautiful friends from my college days. Back in school Venette and Vanessa were always up for a good time and I am so happy that NOTHING has changed :) The evening was filled with some fun in DC followed by a spectacular treat to We, the Pizza and some equally spectacular milk shakes...below are some of my favorite shots.
