K9s in the Vines! Frederick, MD

A few weeks ago I had the awesome opportunity to shoot for the Animal Welfare League of Frederick (Md). K9s in the Vines, hosted at the Liganore Winecellars/Berrywine Plantation in beautiful Mt. Airy, Maryland proved to be a fabulous backdrop for this amazing event. Not only were there some great prizes, auctions and games, great live music was provided and there was an awesome array of local vendors on hand (vendors - if I missed you and your photo is here, let me know and I'll add your link)! Prizes and other goodies were donated by many of the great local vendors and talented artists. All proceeds went to support the efforts of the Animal Welfare League of Frederick - an all volunteer, no-kill, animal rescue and welfare organization.

This is an Otter-hound, have you ever heard of one of those? Neither have I - he was so cool!!

 

While I'm a little more inclined to work with the human folk, these two hard-working, beautiful and talented women have the hard job of dealing with clients that might pee or bite you :) If you are looking for awesome pet portraits please check out Fuzzypants Pet Photography or Dana Cubbage Photography.

Hurricane Irene Update!

Hi all, 

 I hope everyone stayed safe during Hurricane Irene. While we suffered minimal damage to the house (we lost some shingles and had some water damage in our bedroom), we still don't have power and the response from BGE is grim.
