Kelly, Jackson and Abby: Family and Lifestyle Photography, Frederick, Md.

Well, I hope that everyone had a fabulous 4th of July! I have to admit I'm pretty lucky, we live close to Baltimore and can pretty much see the fireworks from my backyard, not to mention our neighbors put on quite a light show themselves. However the best part of my holiday came when I got to visit a good friend and take pictures of her two sweet little ones. First we started off on the porch and at a nearby park...

Later, we ducked inside to cool off and then Abby and Jackson showed me how they got down :).

Lisa + Felipe: Engagement and Couples Photography, Baltimore, MD

Lisa and her fiance Felipe were the winners of a session I donated to a good friend's fundraiser event for Cystic Fibrosis research :) We decided to meet in Baltimore and shoot at Canton Waterfront Park. It had been a long day of shooting for me, but I was so happy (and relieved) that Lisa and Felipe made my job incredibly easy (even when I was having a little camera malfunction!). Just about every smile and pose was genuine and natural (even when I was guiding them or posing them). I have so many couples that freeze and need a little coaxing to relax - this was not the case at all! Thank you so much for a great session guys and best wishes on your upcoming nuptials :)

Lisa and Felipe will be getting married on 9-10-11 in Washington state :)

Danielle + Billy: Couples/Engagement Photography, Ellicott City, MD

I have to admit when I started this session I wasn't sure how I was going to get some of these pictures. I think that in the 5 or so years that I've known them, I've only ever seen them hold hands so I was worried that I would really have to work to capture these more intimate moments. Thankfully they were both amazing sports and played along, making my job just that much easier ;). Thank you to Danielle and Billy for a great session! Please enjoy the pictures below!

Eddy F. : Portrait photography, Washington DC

Below is a peak at my session with Eddy Faulker (He might not look familiar, but he probably sounds familiar...his amazing music accompanies the slide show for my website). He's young, incredibly talented and is releasing his debut EP on June 25, 2011. His music is fresh and has a feel-good sound to it. (Definitely a reflection of the really cool and laid back guy he is).

A self taught guitarist he is inspired by artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer and Joe Jonas. His songs are light and fresh and reflect his life and his experiences. During our session I asked him what motivated him - his response: "I just want to make people happy and make good music". Indeed. You can check him out Eddy and his amazing music here.
